Supported Projects

Projects supported by UAR

Overall, through its collaboration with other organizations dedicated towards supporting those living in Ukrainian war zones.

Ukraine Air Rescue is an NGO providing support to people in Ukraine affected by war and conflict. We are working closely with around 33 other NGOs who are also helping the people of Ukraine in their time of need. UAR has several projects that it supports, ranging from medical aid and transportation of people in need.

The close cooperation between the 33 NGOs and Ukraine Air Rescue ensures that all needs are met as quickly as possible, regardless of how dire or difficult they may be.

For example, if a Hospital needs help obtaining medical supplies or devices during a crisis situation then these organizations can work together to provide them with what they need without delay.

Medical Backpacks

The Blau Gelbes Kreuz e.V. project is sending medical backpacks to Ukraine, which have been developed and regularly reviewed by Ukrainian and German paramedics and emergency physicians.

Each backpack contains everything needed to stabilize a person who has been wounded, with the capacity of saving 3-5 lives per backpack.

So far, Ukraine Air Rescue has delivered 1.009 backpacks as part of this initiative in order to help those affected by the conflict in Ukraine receive proper medical care quickly and efficiently during times of the war.

Ukrainian Children with Cancer Airlifted to Europe

St. Jude - SAFER UKRAINE is an initiative created by St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in collaboration with the Ukrainian Childhood Cancer International and other organizations to provide support to child cancer patients affected by the ongoing conflict in Ukraine. It’s an emotional time for the team at Ukraine Air Rescue. Proud to be part of the amazing mission that Ukraine Air Rescue and St. Jude – SAFER UKRAINE have embarked on, flying young Ukrainian cancer patients to hospitals in the European Union for treatment not available in their home country during these difficult times. Our pilots, deeply affected by these missions, take this journey with these children and their families and give them a second chance at life.

Rescue Refugees

UAR fly refugees from Ukraine border to Europe.

This means of transportation is especially beneficial for elderly people who cannot use train or bus, wounded persons in need of special and fast transportation, blind persons, those with disabilities as well as diseased individuals who require a specialized form of transport.

The transport is carried out in close coordination with the NGOs in Ukraine and Europe and the receiving organizations and hospitals in Europe.

MedKits

This project is designed to respond quickly and effectively when an emergency call comes from a hospital in Ukraine "We have no more medicine, people are dying every hour!". Blau Gelbes Kreuz e.V. will prepare everything that is needed for medicals, UAR will fly the medicals to the Ukrainian border, and then they will be received by requesting hospitals either same day or the following day. MedKit provides enough medical supplies for 5-7 days of operation, while a 40t truck is sent out with more supplies if needed. Each MedKit can save up to 100 lives if used correctly and efficiently during this war until the main aid delivery reaches the hospital.

Mecial Flights and rescue of casualties

UAR is dedicated to supporting medical flights of wounded casualties, like wounded landmine removers, insured medics and volunteers. We provide end-to-end transportation support with our pertner NGOs from ground transportation in Ukraine to hospitals in Europe and safe ground transport from airports to hospitals. To ensure a successful mission, we partner with specialized NGOs that are equipped with flying hospitals, paramedics and doctors on board for emergency care during the flight.

Additionally, our team provides complete logistical support including aircraft selection based on patient’s needs.

Our commitment is not only providing quality service, connecting the dots - so that those who need it most can access this life saving resource.
