4 aircraft took off from Mainz-Finthen in the direction of Ręszów
Yesterday was exciting and successful again!
We are very happy about our cooperation with the Blue-Yellow Cross (https://www.bgk-verein.de/)
The Blue-Yellow Cross diligently packed up no less than 800kg (!!!) of medical supplies in their donation warehouse, such as important medicine for cancer patients, insulin and other medicines that had to be transported refrigerated. It was important that these had to be transported to the Ukraine promptly – i.e. very quickly and urgently. This is where we - Ukraine Air Rescue - came in. A great cooperation that can achieve so much!
Our flight from Mainz-Finthen took off on Wednesday, April 13th, 2022. A total of 4 planes were loaded - the medicines were then transported directly to the Polish border by volunteer pilots. Two experienced pilots from IPA Germany (International Police Association) were also there.
At the border, the aid supplies are received by a logistics partner of the Blue and Yellow Cross, loaded into vans and then taken directly to the Ukrainian hospital - exactly where the medicine is so urgently needed!
We are very happy to be able to help many people in this way and will carry out further aid flights in the near future!
